A: It does not matter if you process your own claims or outsource them, we simply provide the estimate used in the claims process.

Q: How do I request an estimate?

A: It is fast and easy. We provide you with an electronic document. You enter in the car information and return it to us. We do the rest.

Q: What is the turn around time for getting the estimate?

A: Typical turn around time is 48 to 72 hours from the time you submit a request.

Q: How long has this program existed?

A: The program was established in 1994 and in 1998 it became the exclusive provider to Zurich’s Empire Claims Management and in 2000 was introduced industry wide.

Q: Are the Hawthorne appraisers licensed and insured?

A: Hawthorne uses locally licensed appraisers who personally inspect each vehicle. They carry their own insurance and Hawthorne maintains an additional $2million Errors and Omissions policy.

Q: What do I need to do when the estimator shows up?

A: Absolutely nothing. We prefer they not interact with you or your staff to insure that no one can ever claim that he was improperly influenced in any way. Hawthorne’s success is based upon the integrity of its arms length policy and procedures.
